Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited (BHSL) is an Indian enterprise primarily engaged in the production and distribution of sugar and ethanol. Operating nationwide, the company's activities are structured across three key divisions: Sugar, Distillery, and Power. Beyond its primary sugar offerings, BHSL also supplies a range of valuable by-products such as bagasse, molasses, fly ash, press mud, and organic fertilizers like bio-compost/bio-manure. A significant part of its operations includes the generation of bagasse-fueled electricity, which it then dispatches to the Uttar Pradesh state grid. Furthermore, the company is a producer and supplier of alcohol and ethanol, catering to the needs of chemical manufacturing facilities and petroleum companies. Established in 1931, the company was initially known as Bajaj Hindusthan Limited before adopting its current name, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited, in January 2015.
