Ardelyx Inc is a biopharmaceutical company developing and commercialize, first-in-class medicines that meet unmet medical needs. It has developed a platform that enabled the discovery of new biological mechanisms and pathways to develop potent and efficacious therapies that minimize the side effects and drug-drug interactions frequently encountered with traditional, systemically absorbed medicines. Its products Tenapanor, branded as IBSRELA, is used for the treatment of adults with IBS-C. Tenapanor, branded as XPHOZAH, is used to reduce serum phosphorus in adults with CKD on dialysis as add-on therapy in patients who have an inadequate response to phosphate binders or who are intolerant of any dose of phosphate binder therapy.

$ARDX UNCY is going to get approval for their binder and algos will continue to press the bet lower on ARDX if they can. Or it won’t get approval and odds are Ardelyx sees some relief in the market lickety split. I tip my hat to the UNCY shareholder cohort and to the management, they have reached a critical point. Assuming approved, I don’t see where they have a particularly welcoming path in terms of launch and roll out. They’re starting from scratch and there are political (competitor/interested parties) let alone tactical headwinds. Dialysis centers seem to be pretty firewalled fwiw, market will try to bet against premium and steep uptake in this name imo. But. IM NO EXPERT , it’s sort of anecdotal/intuitive from watching Xphozah. I think it’s an ARDX nothing burger for the most part. I think a business combo aiming for a combo pill is a possibility. Relatively remote. Not soon. NIA
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX dead money on the dialsys side. No TDAPA, only ESRD PPS , they will be lucky if the insurance companies dont ask for their money back..
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX Silence by Raab is ridiculous so basically it was low chance to beat CMS, wasted legal fees and expenses Jefferies didn’t provide enough details why they believed Q2 won’t meet expectations Bigger worry is competitors like Unicycive Therapeutics (NASDAQ: UNCY) for oxylanthanum carbonate (OLC), an oral phosphate binder designed for treating hyperphosphatemia in dialysis patients.
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX last night i dreamt sp was at 73. perhaps i missed the decimal showing 7.30 instead. either price would make me happy though :)
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX added a few thousand more, been holding off for this . The mood can be a bit bipolar here. Got to go with your own evaluation or impression. I still like the fundamentals . Are we going to get dinged in Q2 ? I don’t know. History of sales has been an upward trajectory . I like the prospects for 27, CIC growing indications. Looking as an investment for 27

View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX when we just thought the CMS ghost is behind us, last thing we wanted was a doubt in anyone mind reg Insrella sales miss( thats the only thing left here). Thats what the analyst note from Jefferies yesterday gave us. Now with that ahead of us and management silence we only move down till ER .. if its a miss we go down further after ER.. no one in any sort of hurry to buy here with no catalysts or PRs expected.
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX And now the offer side of the market pile up. The shorts have played this perfectly. IMO

View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX It’ll likely take ages to get back to where we were a few days back. That’s how Ardy moves…
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX My 10 cents fwiw is that, all things being equal (which they’re not of course), this is the “Ding” sell off. DD introduced the notion of an Isbrela miss Q2 into the conversation, and the algos have metastasized the thought to the extent that I don’t expect it to be put to rest (or God forbid) legitimized until the Q2 call. So that’s a little sad. However, with only a month until the ER, whales are being handheld on the Ibsrela number through the back channel (probably & cryptically) and the algos need to be “right-sized” going into the print (meaning, we don’t go down 30 cents/day for a month lol). This is a reminder that each quarter is at least LITTLE binary. Theses’ are nice. Results ( and earnings) are where the rubber meets the road. Algos want me to consider what a Ding “miss” would “mean” going forward. As for Raab & Mott. Any SP event of short duration that can shake out weaker hands & add active managers whales is probably welcome, at least to some extent. NIA
View on StockTwits ↗$ARDX 1.3 billion market cap. For a company that will bring in close to 0.5 billion revenue and is growing 50% y/y. You don’t find that often.
