Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Easy to miss in the La Guitarra expansion detail: going in, plant capacities were 516 wet tpd milling, 640 tpd crushing, and 1,200 tpd flotation (Sept 8, 2025 NR). That flotation number already sits at the bottom of $SMDRF's Phase 2 target range of 1,200-1,500 tpd, slated for Q3 2027. View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - The Del Toro deal $SMDRF closed in June came with 70 mining concessions covering 2,129 ha in the Chalchihuites District, Zacatecas. Three permitted underground mining centres too: Perseverancia, San Juan and Dolores, plus a dry-stack tailings facility designed for 12 years at 2,000 tpd. View on StockTwits ↗$SMDRF Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Coloso sits 4 km northwest of the Guitarra plant: 432,000 indicated tonnes at 221 g/t silver and 1.61 g/t gold, versus 1,649,000 indicated tonnes at 123 g/t Ag and 1.25 g/t Au in the Guitarra veins. $SMDRF brought in a Process Plant Superintendent with flotation experience to work out the blend (Apr 29, 2025 NR; resources, not reserves). https://sierramadregoldandsilver.com/read/auto-news-1745924420
View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Del Toro came with a 3,000 tpd flotation circuit and more than 62.5 km of existing underground development. $SMDRF's Zacatecas mine ran 2013 to 2019, averaging 2.54Moz AgEq per year between 2015 and 2018. Next is roughly 30,000 m of resource expansion drilling, then a restart decision rather than a build. Full details: https://sierramadregoldandsilver.com/read/auto-news-1766008269
View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Silver is up about 3.6% today near US$64/oz, with gold up around 2.5% near US$4,400. $SMDRF has been in commercial production at La Guitarra since January 1, 2025, and went debt free on July 8, 2026 after repaying the US$5M First Majestic term loan out of mine cash flow. View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Del Toro, the past-producing mine $SMDRF bought from First Majestic, sits roughly a year and about US$10M from a restart per CEO Alex Langer's July Commodity TV interview. Mill expansion, the 22-pad East District permit and his 8-10M oz AgEq/year ambition (his words, not guidance) are covered too. View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - The rate is the part worth reading: the US$5M First Majestic term loan $SMDRF cleared was secured, non-revolving, and carried 15% annual interest per First Majestic's Q3 2025 statements. Repaid in full July 8, 2026, ten months before the May 8, 2027 maturity, from La Guitarra cash flow. https://www.streetwisereports.com/article/2026/07/10/mining-company-fully-repays-us-5-million-loan-reports-debt-free-status.html
View on StockTwits ↗$SMDRF Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Per Alex Langer on Commodity TV in July: La Guitarra's Phase 1 mill expansion, 500 tpd to 750-800 tpd, was "almost complete," full run rate targeted end of Q3 2026, Phase 2 to 1,200-1,500 tpd by Q3 2027. Roughly US$10M all-in for both, funded from cash flow. Five straight quarters of production growth behind it. His commentary, not guidance. $SMDRF: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDpTAO3aQew
View on StockTwits ↗$SMDRF Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - The quieter thread in Alex Langer's July Commodity TV interview: roughly US$9M of owned equipment replacing rentals at La Guitarra, plus an underground development catch-up, should take about US$10/oz off $SMDRF costs over the next few quarters. CEO commentary, not guidance. With silver near US$59/oz, that lands in margin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDpTAO3aQew
View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - $SMDRF didn't learn La Guitarra on the job. COO/Exec Chair Greg Liller, Dir. of Exploration Luis Saenz and others ran it from 2006 to 2009 under prior ownership, taking it from 100 tpd to 500 tpd. They bought back familiar ground, and hit commercial production in record time. More: https://sierramadregoldandsilver.com/news
View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - $SMDRF's July 14 permit news names the first seven holes: four from one pad testing the Magdalena vein system below historic workings, three more testing the Los Locos veins. These open a fully budgeted 30,000m program across up to 30 vein systems from 22 pads, beside the producing La Guitarra mill. https://sierramadregoldandsilver.com/read/auto-news-1784026892
View on StockTwits ↗$SMDRF Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - $SMDRF cleared to drill: SEMARNAT approved 22 pads in La Guitarra's East District, testing up to 30 vein systems as phase one of a fully budgeted 30,000m program. Contractors already bidding. The 2023 report pegs conceptual East District potential at 0.77-1.54 Mt grading 2.4-3.6 g/t Au and 440-670 g/t Ag across five veins. View on StockTwits ↗Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - $SMDRF is now debt free, fully repaying the US$5M First Majestic term loan roughly 10 months ahead of its May 2027 maturity. It followed a US$2.5M prepayment in March. CEO Alex Langer credited cash generation from La Guitarra, now free to fund exploration at both it and Del Toro.
