still waiting for drip shares to drop from $OXLC $RCS & $EDF
View on StockTwits ↗$GOF I used to like this one a lot. Now, not so much. Chart shows trending down and I'd rather it show trending flat, or up. Performance lately is exceptionally poor, showing current yield of 16.53% weighed down by as yet unrealized capital losses making annualized total return only 3.73%. I have a concept of a plan to be rid of this in 7 months or less, even as Yield on Cost for this one is 14.71%. I changed my mind on reducing EDF for now, and I'm waffling on the fate of GUT. For now... I am reducing $RCS for even worse performance (annualized total return is -0.45% reducing the yield of 6.79% due to unrealized losses of over $100 on approx. $1,500 invested). Same 7 month plan for this one. Good riddance. So, on these 2 that I've tagged in this post I am understandably
View on StockTwits ↗I have 9 CEFs in my portfolio of 41 positions. I have already outlined my goals for slightly reducing the share counts and resultant income of the 'top' 3; CLM, CRF, & OXLC. I have no plans to reduce HGLB. The 5 remaining CEFs; $EDF $GOF $GUT $RCS & $UTG will be eliminated, reducing the number of portfolio positions from 41 down to 36, and subsequently freeing up approx. $8K for investment into higher yielding ETFs. I'm still
