@WhiteNight at the $12 a share.. $MSFT could use their overpriced equity to acquire $LUMN equity, and all equity offers require a good premium! They would be buying $12B for equity and $13B for debt remaining. So EV of $25B, I don't care what the current stock price is $25B is a great deal considering $CTL valued $LVLT at what $35B EV? QF didn't even exist then I don't believe? So $MSFT would be dumb not to do that deal! Hell $MSFT shares would likely pop big time if they announced that deal! Msft already owns one of the largest fiber networks in the world. It's like 175k route miles, and even though they own and operate it, they chose $LUMN to do that deal with. Historically $MSFT loves to buy dark fiber. And $LUMN has a lot of it.
View on StockTwits ↗@JRR21 not enough for who? Majority of the company is tutes. And what's their avg price? If it's worth more then gotta get that stock price up! And if it goes up who's the buyer then? You old $LVLT shareholders are greedy! You already got overpaid by $CTL to begin with & look where that got us?
View on StockTwits ↗@TraderJoe1964 you can't abandon the idea that a company that's worth investing in, must also be a company worth being acquired! At what price point is $LUMN worth being acquired and at what price point is it too expensive to be acquired? $CTL way overpaid for $LVLT. I don't see another business making that mistake! I didn't see $T overpaying for QF? Matter fact after taxes they didn't even pay the going rate for homes enabled!
View on StockTwits ↗@KarlDieGlatze I've never seen a telecom sell at ATHs or at the higher end of industry multiple.. Or at least I havent seen it since $CTL way overpaid for $LVLT like 7-8 yrs ago..
View on StockTwits ↗$LUMN along with $LVLT and QWEST now aligned and with the 8K - HUGE PAYDAY!
View on StockTwits ↗$BLBD $LVLT $FSI Adding today, planted some seeds In these Blbd is extended; but the paradigm shift might be exploding Lvlt (lava) - been tracking it for a while; a little risky, but looking for a bottom Fsi- I like the straight talk from management- rolling up their sleeves in tough times
View on StockTwits ↗$LUMN when $TMUS, not if, but when they announce they are acquiring $LUMN $TMUS will go up, similar to how $LVLT went up when they acquired $TWTC
View on StockTwits ↗@Joserod $LUMN CEO was Jeff StoReY originally of $LVLT , if it wasnt apparent that level3 actually took over $CTL
View on StockTwits ↗@KarlDieGlatze $LVLT plays it close to the chest.. Or seemed like that do.. But who knows when it will happen.. It's just today is the anniversary of when tmus and sprint merger was announced.. 4/29/18.. I consider such things as timing. Lucky before, lucky again.. The Sprint shareholders seemed to fair well! $LUMN SH's I believe could too..

View on StockTwits ↗$LUMN wouldn't it be awesome if $LUMN pre-announced ER tomorrow morning along with their acquirer? It happened when $CTL bought out $LVLT

View on StockTwits ↗@EAH2016 @Train23 leadership isn't the issue. This company should be sold! The new leadership can go lead the turnaround as part of a larger organization that can take advantage of the assets... The old Monroe accountants knew how to run this type of business.. And if they would have stayed in charge it would be a much different story now.. Remember that the rednecks in Monroe got $CTL in a position to buy $LVLT and all the other companies.. So much value lost.. It's sad really!
