View on StockTwits ↗$FNMA $FMCC If these stocks were stupidly cheap at $7.00 then they must be at ludicrous levels at half the price. Where is the obligatory Ackman pump? Regardless, there is nothing the government has or could do to these companies that could depress the price of these stocks more than the activist short sellers have done. Even if worst case scenario happened and they stayed forever in conservatorship, these stocks are trading at half their worth. The fact that the SWF of Norway is looking into buying their MBSs speaks volumes about the solid business behind these stocks. But yet, we are sold an oscillating narrative of pot of gold/gloom and doom so Activist Traders, short sellers and Hedge Funds can generate liquidity and scam retail like they do with all the other stocks in this market. I pray these people get the ultimate rug pull like they've done to everyone else over the years.
View on StockTwits ↗$FMCC I believe that if Fannie Mae is released from conservatorship and the government issues new shares, existing shareholders should receive shares or tradable subscription rights on a proportional basis. This would be the fairest approach because it would protect current shareholders from excessive dilution while still allowing the government to raise capital and protect taxpayers’ interests.
View on StockTwits ↗$FMCC $FNMA wow will we ever get back ?? This is frustrating we are stuck under $7

View on StockTwits ↗$FMCC $FNMA To what extent do FNMA and FMCC's current share prices already reflect the market's interest-rate outlook?
View on StockTwits ↗$FNMA $FMCC I think the en banc is to give the Government (FHFA) more time to file a Petition for writ of certiorari. The 90 day SCOTUS clock starts over after the en banc bull shit. 🤬 So tack on another 90 days after any en banc action. In my estimate, we are looking at 4 months with a denial for en banc. At least a year if they are granted en banc for the 90 day SCOTUS deadline to end.
