Established in 1992 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO) specializes in the production and sale of electricity to government bodies and industrial consumers. Its operational footprint extends across various countries, notably Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, Laos, and Indonesia. The company's activities are organized into two primary segments: electricity generation and other related business ventures. EGCO employs a diverse portfolio of energy sources, including natural gas, liquefied natural gas, coal, biomass, hydropower, solar, wind, geothermal, and fuel cell technologies, to generate power.
