DaVita is one of the largest providers of dialysis services in the United States, boasting a market share of about 35%. The firm operates over 3,200 facilities worldwide, mostly in the US, and treats about 300,000 patients annually. Government payers dominate US dialysis reimbursement. DaVita receives about two-thirds of US sales at government (primarily Medicare) reimbursement rates, with the remainder coming from commercial insurers. While commercial insurers represent only about 10% of US patients treated, they represent nearly all of the profits generated by DaVita in the US dialysis business.

DaVita’s $DVA Vafseo $AKBA rollout : • 100+ clinic pilot began 8/18/25 • Went “village-wide” on 11/10/25 • Pilot to village-wide access: 84 days Why this matters for $CRMD: • Similar timing could put DefenCath village-wide before potential MA contracts begin in early 2027 • That is a strong setup for $FMS -like adoption *Not a direct adoption comparison. Vafseo faced adherence issues, protocol changes, anemia-manager concerns, and decades of ESA inertia. Access did not equal immediate utilization.
View on StockTwits ↗Reminder: comments on CMS’s CY2027 ESRD rule remain open through Aug. 24. On $DVA’s Q2 call, CEO Javier Rodriguez said: “The net result is a rate increase that once again tracks below the cost trends for the industry. We’re providing feedback during the rulemaking process.” Separately for $CRMD, the same rule estimates a $5.5951/treatment DefenCath add-on for 2027 and proposes quarterly recalculation using updated utilization and ASP data. View on StockTwits ↗$DVA Classic financial engineering on $DVA. Incurred a brand new $500M Term Loan B-2 just to shuffle debt around and turn around to blow cash repurchasing 2.2M shares at a whopping $154.95 average price. Paying down debt? Nope. propping up the stock while patients bleed out. Short printing! 🩸🐖
View on StockTwits ↗$DVA Short $DVA. The balance sheet is a debt-loaded mess. They've spent years bleeding patients and suffocating emerging medical tech innovation. Fade it! 🐻

View on StockTwits ↗$DVA ok. I’ve convinced myself this is worth some investment. I get the reasons it got hit but I think it’s way over done. Hopefully the market eventually agrees with me.
View on StockTwits ↗$AKBA $DVA Gosh! Why are DaVita doctors such idiots? They could just prescribe Vafseo faster and make the stock go up. Freakin’ idiots.
View on StockTwits ↗$BRK.B $DVA Best idea: Davita just lost 25% of market cap after decent earnings. Buffet owns 47%. Aggressive Share buy back has reduced Outstanding shares by 70% in past 10 years.
View on StockTwits ↗$DVA Berkshire Hathaway owns 47% of this gem. Go ahead and make me any offer above $220 and take my shares!
