$AXSM Axsome is running this Phase 3 trial as a treatment study aimed directly at smoking cessation outcomes. The parallel design means each group is treated at the same time, which makes it easier to compare quit rates and safety between AXS-05, the active control bupropion, and placebo under similar conditions. The study was first submitted on August 11, 2026, which marks the formal launch of the program in public registries. The same date is listed as the last update so far, signaling that the protocol has just been posted and that recruiting is underway, with future key dates like primary and final completion still to be set. For investors, a successful Phase 3 smoking cessation result could add a new use for AXS-05 and support Axsome’s stock over time. It would place the company in a large market now led by older drugs like bupropion and varenicline, and could lift sentiment if early signals show better quit rates or a cleaner safety profile. cont.
View on StockTwits ↗$AXSM There are three important reasons to believe the Morgan Stanley IQVIA prescription data may be materially underrepresenting the early uptake of Auvelity in Alzheimer's disease agitation (ADA). First, Axsome made clear on the Q2 earnings call that free samples being used to initiate ADA patients are not captured by IQVIA, stating that "samples are not prescriptions" and therefore do not appear in IQVIA data. Importantly, those samples also should not be included in Axsome's reported approximately 266,000 Q2 TRX. Therefore, samples alone do not explain the roughly 30,500-prescription difference between Axsome's reported TRX and the Morgan Stanley IQVIA data. Second, when an analyst specifically asked about IQVIA's capture rate for the new ADA titration pack, Axsome said there was "really limited data" on its capture rate. This leaves open the possibility that some prescriptions involving the new titration pack are not yet being fully reflected in IQVIA. (Continued)

View on StockTwits ↗$AXSM Something is wrong with the reporting. Almost impossible to believe that for 4 straight weeks scripts would be the exact same number. AXSM has told us that they are very bad at capturing long term care facility scripts and they seriously under report every day scripts. In addition. the addition of 100s of new sales people should be producing something. Numbers are truly suspect
View on StockTwits ↗$AXSM Scripts stuck at 19,700 for 4 straight weeks. I really find that hard to believe.
View on StockTwits ↗$AXSM Groundhog Day. Axsome: Auvelity for major depressive disorder and agitation in Alzheimer's dementia Weekly TRx grew 0% w/w to 19,700, +34% Y/Y, and rolling 12-wk +33% Y/Y New prescriptions (NRx) / TRx were 58% for the week
View on StockTwits ↗$AXSM After further review of Axsome’s Q2 Auvelity TRx data, it appears IQVIA substantially undercounted the ADA prescriptions. IQVIA is apparently not capturing a meaningful portion of the ADA scripts. I was previously mistaken about the size of the discrepancy between IQVIA’s numbers and Axsome’s reported TRx.
