Almonty Industries Inc is engaged in the development of the Sangdong Mine in South Korea, and the Company is currently mining, processing, and shipping tungsten concentrate from the Panasqueira tin and tungsten mine in Covilha, Castelo Branco, Portugal (Panasqueira Mine). Additionally, the Company is evaluating its molybdenum project with inferred mineral resources on a separate property adjacent to the tungsten orebody at the Sangdong Mine, its Valtreixal tin and tungsten mine project located in Western Spain in the province of Zamora (Valtreixal Mine), and the newly-acquired Gentung Browns Lake tungsten project located in Montana, USA (Gentung-Browns Lake Project). The company has two geographical locations: the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and the Republic of Korea.

ALM reported a 60.7% gross margin in Q2 2026, not 90%, while ELMT reported 25.0% gross margin and 13.3% adjusted EBITDA margin in Q2. And yes, ALM and ELMT are different businesses — which is exactly why the comparison is interesting. ALM is currently valued at roughly $4B+, while ELMT was still sub-$1B before the U.S. government deal. ELMT already generates ~$228M TTM revenue and ~$32M adjusted EBITDA, and now has a U.S. government-backed expansion, with $450M of strategic capital and a DLA framework potentially worth up to $2B. Nobody is saying ELMT deserves ALM’s valuation today. But if a Western tungsten producer can command a ~$4B valuation, dismissing a sub-$1B valuation for an existing U.S. tungsten/materials manufacturer with major defense exposure as “obviously overpriced” seems premature.

@BubbleWatch $ALM will have 90% GMs while prices are high. $ELMT is forecasting 20-25% GMs. The refining APT business only 10-15%! Hard to believe so low given that they will be the only domestic producer. That is what happens when the US Government owns 20% of your company and has a seat on your board: low margins. I love Tungsten and ELMT is going to be a major player, but comparing it to ALM is like comparing apples and oranges…

$ELMT Here’s the interesting part: Almonty $ALM is currently valued at roughly $4B+ despite being primarily an upstream tungsten producer. ELMT already generates ~$230M in annual revenue and ~$32M in adjusted EBITDA, while now receiving up to $450M of U.S. government strategic capital and a DLA contract framework potentially worth up to $2B. If ALM can command a $4B+ valuation on the Western tungsten supply-chain thesis, why is a ~$700M–$800M valuation for ELMT considered “obviously overpriced”? The comparison is worth watching.

View on StockTwits ↗$ALM Now we know what the “lawyer fest” and “band-aid solution” was all about. Rwanda deal is good for Panasqueira profits. When combined with the L4 extension should increase Panasqueira earnings 3-4x by 2029. As far as the current pullback I believe this is simply institutions allowing short sellers to bid down the price to help them accumulate their massive positions. This up and down can keep going for another quarter or two, until enough float is eventually locked. I imagine buyback will be taking advantage of these prices. However, neither institutions nor buyback will bid price up. At least for now.
